00:01 Here we'll engrave a QR code.
00:05 We're using the same tool diameter that we used to generate the QR code, and we've accurately set the cutter to ensure that the code isn't distorted.
00:17 The QR code is made of numerous straight, short tool paths.
00:21 Our software combines these paths end to end and side by side to complete the job in the shortest time.
00:31 Notice how when the cutter depth is accurately set, the toolpaths barely overlap and combine to create zones that are completely engraved.
00:42 The engraving, as you can see, has created solid filled in areas.
00:48 Okay, we're done.
00:52 We'll brush away the last few chips and the QR code is ready to display.
00:59 Finally, always scan the engraved code to verify that it decodes and that it matches your intended text.
