Our History:

Scott Machine Development Corp. has been at home in Walton, NY since its formation in 1962. We’ve developed and manufactured some of the most successful products in the engraving, sign and name badge markets. Following our creation of Signgraving® engravers, we developed micro-surface Scott-Ply® and Scott-Spectrum® engraving stock, innovative SNAP® Signs, and ColorDome® custom name badges.

Call us and we’ll answer the phone in person by the fourth ring; we’re glad to send free samples and literature. Or, you can view our helpful videos demonstrations. You can even design and order your own name tags online. Although we have the newest technology, we’ve maintained the traditional values of an American manufacturer in a small, rural community – craftsmanship, respect for our associates, and courtesy toward our customers.
